Pam Ragon is a highly skilled advisor, appraiser, and accountant with years of senior level corporate experience.
She has valued businesses for
mergers, acquisitions and dispositions. Ragon has advised executive management
on financing alternatives and growth strategies, led strategic planning
initiatives, created and directed annual budget processes and written business
plans. She has served clients in real estate, energy, manufacturing and
financial services.
Prior
to joining JSA, Ragon managed the Chapter 11 liquidation of Amresco, Inc., a
publicly-held specialty lender with revenues over $100 million. As CFO in
liquidation, she distributed over $90 million to creditors, and resolved claims
totaling $150 million. She has also held senior level positions at Bank of
America and Arthur Andersen. Ragon holds a Masters in Accountancy from the
University of Houston. She is a member of the CFA Institute, the Dallas Society
of Financial Analysts, the Women’s Finance Exchange and the Turnaround
Management Association. She is a fundraiser or board member for several
non-profit organizations.
