He has been CEO or lead turnaround executive of an $80-million 23-branch wholesaler/distributor of electrical products, a specialized steel foundry, a national manufacturer of branded auto parts, a national distributor and retailer of licensed apparel and sporting goods, and a national electronic check guarantee company. Joe has been the top advisor to the CEOs of many client companies across the US and in Puerto Rico.
He is a past or present member of the Boards of Directors of 12 public and private corporations. Joe has sold and acquired businesses and business units. He has coached successful startup and growth-stage businesses. He has helped several businesses avoid bankruptcy, and where unavoidable, has brought them successfully through bankruptcy. He has advised Creditors’ Committees. He is a business appraiser, and serves as a valuation and business issues expert in state and federal courts. He writes and lectures nationally.
